Privacy policy
Last updated May 2026
Hurdle Studio (“Hurdle,” “we,” or “us”) cares about your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit hurdle.studio or engage us as a client, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run the studio:
- Contact data — name, email address, and any details you share when you request a work sample, schedule an intro, or email us directly.
- Project data — files, briefs, feedback, and access credentials you provide during an engagement.
- Site usage — anonymous analytics about how this website is used (page views, referrers, device type). We do not use cookies or cross-site identifiers for this purpose; see our Cookie policy.
How we use information
We use the data we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and send the work samples you request.
- Plan, run, and invoice for engagements you have agreed to with us.
- Improve the site and our services, in aggregate.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms where necessary.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
Sharing & subprocessors
We share information only with vendors that help us run the studio, and only to the extent needed for the service they provide:
- Email and scheduling tools (e.g. inboxes, calendars).
- Hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Privacy-friendly analytics providers that do not collect personal identifiers.
- Payment processors when an engagement is invoiced.
We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — typically the length of the engagement plus a reasonable period for tax, accounting, and legal records. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at kyler@hurdle.studio. We will respond within a reasonable time, and at most within the period required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Hurdle website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted before they take effect.
