Contractor finance is messy. Their app needed to make it obvious.
Buildplus handles real money for real jobs: card spend, subcontractor payments, dedicated project wallets, and cost-plus invoicing. Done well, contractors should see exactly what each project is making, but legacy tooling buries that signal under spreadsheets, PDFs, and emailed receipts.
We needed a product that made job profit, projections, and expenses legible to a working contractor on a phone, between site visits, without an accountant in the loop.
